THE MONEY SHOW RACE SERIES: Accelaquarter Raceway to Host a Summer-long Series with Payouts Totaling Over 1 Million Dollars!
Fast Facts: Accelaquarter Raceway brings four months of racing to its outlawed Harrisburg, Illinois, dragstrip throughout June, July, August, and September of 2020. There will be two racing styles with big money payouts: four weekends of $5k/10k/5k Triples and four weekends of $250k Main Events!
WHAT:
$250k MAIN EVENT WEEKENDS:
Accelaquarter Raceway is inviting a maximum of 300 Super Pro Class cars (boxcars only) to participate in four separate weekends of show-stopping racing. A whopping $250,000 payout is on the line EVERY WEEKEND! 1st Place: $100k; Runner Up: $50,000; Semifinalists (3rd-4th): $25,000; 6th Round Win: $10,000. 5th Round Win: $1,250. Door Cars and dragsters are welcome.
A minimum of 200 Cars must register for each super pro race to guarantee purse payout. Maximum 300 cars. First-come, first-serve. Pre-registration available.

DRIVER REGISTRATION & BUY-BACKS: Registration is $1,500 for a single-event-entry buy-in. FORMAT: Drivers are invited to arrive and set up the Thursday before every $250k Main Event. Test and tunes will be conducted on the Fridays of every scheduled Main Event before racing commences using two lanes for all Super Pro Classifiers. Lanes will be identified from left to right facing down track as 1 and 2. A Christmas tree will be in use. All races are 1/8 mile. Door cars and dragsters will be called to the lanes together. $750 first-round buy-backs are on the table!. Same car double entries allowed. Entering more than 2 times is not permitted for any car or driver. Bye run is pulled by random first round. Best reaction time gets the bye run after first round (closest to dial tiebreaker). (1) bye run per driver unless everyone has had one. Bye run carries over into the next round if not used. A ladder will start with 16 cars; new ladder each round based on reaction times. Diapers are mandatory. If you win a round and your car breaks, you may switch cars with a race director’s approval. If you get caught switching without approval you will be disqualified. Throttle stops and stutter boxes are allowed. Slew rate controls are prohibited. MSD Ignition box 7531 is prohibited. Autostart and crosstalk in effect. There will also be four weekends dedicated to Triples-style drag racing. Option to pre-register online to secure your spot; however, these race events are no pre-pays, pay-at-the-gate style racing. First-come, first-serve. $100 and $200 single event entry buy-ins; Full weekend buy-in for $350.
